RAGHVENDRA GOPAL

A dynamic IIT graduate and post graduate Engineering professional with over 27 years of rich experience in diverse functions within the Automobile / Manufacturing industries in Metallurgy, Manufacturing process, Special processes, Quality Assurance, Supplier Development and Project management fields. He operates from Pune, Maharashtra.
He worked as AGM- Engineering Research Centre, Tata Motors Limited, Pune. He has served in automotive tier one / manufacturing companies including Lucas-TVS, Valeo and Tata Motors. His prime work has been in materials, manufacturing processes, value engineering, weight reduction problem solving techniques, Management systems and implementations of New product development processes in line with APQP/PPAP for new projects. He has been responsible for complete green field projects working right from materials localization, working with steel mills, establishment of inhouse heat treatment, welding and surface protection processes.
He has been responsible for design validation and fatigue durability for various chassis and vehicle components based on instrumented load data and testing the component with servo hydraulic actuators to simulate real road conditions and correlate with CAE.
