English Speaking: Building Fluency and Confidence

Course Duration: 6 Months (2 days each month) mostly Sat-Sunday 

Day 1:

Session 1: Introduction and Warm-Up

Icebreaker activity to get to know each other and build a comfortable learning environment.

Overview of the course objectives and what participants can expect to achieve by the end of the six-month program.

Warm-up exercises focusing on pronunciation, intonation, and rhythm.

Session 2: Vocabulary Expansion

Introduction to new vocabulary related to daily life, work, hobbies, and interests.

Interactive exercises to practice using new vocabulary in context.

Group discussions and role-plays to reinforce vocabulary usage.

Session 3: Grammar Review

Review of key grammar concepts such as verb tenses, sentence structure, and word order.

Practice exercises to reinforce understanding and application of grammar rules.

Error correction activities to identify common mistakes and improve accuracy.

Session 4: Speaking Practice

Guided speaking activities focusing on expressing opinions, giving presentations, and participating in group discussions.

Pair and group work to encourage collaboration and peer feedback.

Individual speaking tasks with personalized feedback from the instructor.

Day 2:

Session 1: Listening Comprehension

Listening activities featuring authentic audio recordings, interviews, and dialogues.

Comprehension exercises to improve listening skills and understanding of spoken English.

Discussion and reflection on the content of the listening materials.

Session 2: Reading Comprehension

Reading passages on a variety of topics, including news articles, short stories, and essays.

Comprehension questions to assess understanding of the text and develop reading strategies.

Vocabulary acquisition through context and word analysis.

Session 3: Pronunciation and Accent Reduction

Practice exercises focusing on difficult sounds and pronunciation patterns.

Techniques to improve accent reduction and clarity of speech.

Individualized feedback and guidance on pronunciation improvement.

Session 4: Review and Feedback

Recap of key learning points from the two-day session.

Open discussion for participants to share their thoughts, ask questions, and provide feedback.

Goal setting for the next session and strategies for continued improvement between sessions.

Throughout the six-month program, participants will also have access to supplementary materials such as online resources, self-study exercises, and additional practice activities to support their learning journey. 

Regular progress assessments will be conducted to track improvement and tailor instruction to individual needs. By the end of the course, participants can expect to have significantly enhanced their English speaking skills, confidence, and fluency.
